Green

Affiniti Architects, as a firm, is a member of the United States Green Building Council, along with multiple partners having LEED certification.  Our work throughout the Caribbean has given us “off the grid” experience, well before it was fashionable.

As part of the Solaris home design team, Affiniti Architects has achieved the first Platinum LEED-rated residence in Florida.  As a part of the LEED pilot program for residential certification, we are ahead of the curve achieving one of the first LEED residential certifications when they are established in the near future.

Affiniti Architects continuous research of wind, solar, passive, and active systems is part of our commitment.  We believe architecture can be fully integrated within the requirements providing an uncompromising aesthetically pleasing result.

New product introduction within existing multi-family community which achieves virtually same density on grade as previous “podium” buildings did. Utilization of minimal service drives reduces problematic extra roadway which is traditional in alley schemes.

Cascada, is a community of 140 residences on an island enclave was designed and built to meet green/sustainable energy standards first implemented at Artesia.

This project was developed by Minto Communities.
