On the Boards

We are proud to be partnered with the Montana Group in designing the Sumner Point Marina. The project is situated in Rum Cay, Bahamas, roughly three hundred miles southeast of Freeport. The marina will be a mixture of resort and single family living. All units are waterfront properties with access to dock space in the protected deep water marina.

The Sumner Point Marina consists of fifteen 1500-square-foot one-story single-family units, located in the water's edge.

Tropical Rooms

Residents of South Florida are used to tropical breezes and beautiful beaches, and many seek to bring this lifestyle into their homes. Mitch Kunik, owner of Affiniti Architects in Boca Raton, has seen this growing trend and implemented it into his architecture, creating dramatic custom homes for clients in-the-know. When a local financial wizard, whose home is pictured here, wanted to bring this easy-breezy style into his household in The Sanctuary, he sought out Affiniti, a firm sought out not through researching photographs, portfolios or Web sites, but through visiting the home in person.

With our increasingly hectic lifestyles, it is no wonder we sit and wonder, “What happened to the good old days?”  Every day, many of us face gridlock traffic, rising gas prices and other stresses that we just seem to accept as fact of life.

Looking back, though, some know nothing else.  Many of us are used to driving 20 or 30 minutes to get anywhere.  Many have grown accustomed to not going to places alone or after dark.
