Going Green

Solaris Lucia Model Rendering

Perhaps it is because of the rising cost of fossil fuels. Or responses to messages like Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth. For whatever reason, green design, teh concept of architecture and construction that makes as little impact as possible to the environment, is getting more attention.

Mitch Kunik of Affiniti Architects in Boca Raton is currently designing Solaris, a development of 25 homes in Port St. Lucie, to be as energy-efficient as possible.

Our New Look

On March 31st, 2008, Affiniti Architects premiered a new website with a new look and a new level of interactivity.  There are five slideshows on our front page, each one representing an aspect of the firm’s expertise.  These slideshows, when clicked, reveal a menu of projects related to the category.  Ten examples for each category have their own selection of photography and drawings to help give the viewer a more detailed look into the process or final result of a project, which can be accessed when the thumbnail is clicked.
